Inclusivity
We promote inclusivity by offering a diverse range of sports, a varied Physical Education curriculum and a breadth of co-curricular activities, such as:
- Lacrosse
- Table tennis
- Handball
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Strength and conditioning
There are plenty of opportunities to represent St Edumnd’s locally and nationally through our competitive fixtures.
We continue to expand our competitive element into other sports including, basketball, badminton, golf, table tennis, girls’ cricket and girls’ rugby.
Aspiring Athlete Programme
This programme enables talented athletes to advance their skills through specialised training and coaching. Our elite environment provides a strong foundation for succeeding at the very highest level.
Our programme includes:
- Resistance training
- Aerobic and anaerobic conditioning
- Nutrition
- Psychological techniques
- Recovery
- Injury prevention and rehabilitation
All Sports Scholars are invited to the Aspiring Athletes Programme by the Director of Sport, but other students can be included at the discretion of the Head of Boys’ and Head of Girls’ Games.
