Academic

We understand that young people excel when they feel inspired, happy and supported at school.

Our broad, balanced curriculum, small class sizes and talented teachers help each student to achieve their full potential.

In the classroom, High Performance Learning (HPL) promotes a unique set of skills, values and attitudes, proven to support success – not just in exams, but in life beyond school.

All students are encouraged to extend their learning, through activities that inspire, stretch and challenge. Depending on their individual talents, this may be through additional reading, a science Olympiad, a national Maths Challenge, poetry or Young Enterprise competition.

Learning happens in an environment filled with exceptional resources, including our digital infrastructure. For, international students our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is central to ensuring they thrive academically and socially.

Standards are high and we expect students to work hard and enjoy their learning, be it in the classroom or independently.
