Musical Theatre Programme

Our unique St Edmund’s College Musical Theatre Programme offers professional training in singing, acting, jazz, tap and ballet.

Our Musical Theatre teachers are industry professionals, who bring experience that spans the West End, television and The Royal Ballet.

What does our programme include:

  • Singing, dance and acting lessons (LAMDA) in groups and 1:1
  • Performing in musical theatre showcases for family, friends and industry professionals
  • Particpation in our annual College production – a highlight of the year!

Our co-curricular opportunities include everything from ballet and jazz, to musical theatre, contemporary dance and tap. Whether students join to support future industry ambitions or just for fun, the St Edmund’s Musical Theatre Programme has everything they need to truly shine.

About Mr Veasey

Mr Veasey trained at Guildford School of Acting and has been a professional within the Arts for many years, appearing in a number of television dramas and theatrical tours. As well as an illustrious career in theatre and television, Mr Veasey has coached acting and singing at some of the UK’s top drama schools. He was a 1:1 vocal coach at St Edmund’s for eight years, prior to joining the team as Head of Department.
