Prep Registration Process

We invite you to come and visit us either on one of our Open Days or on a personal tour at your convenience.

Once you have decided to register your child for the Prep school for years, Year 1 to Year 6 this should be submitted through our online registration and payment system available here or to the left of this page.

A meeting with the Head of the Prep and a familiarisation day for the child will be organised giving both parties an opportunity to get to know each other.  Prep school applicants will be required to sit an age-appropriate assessment which will be conducted on this day.  If your child is at school already we will ask for a copy of the latest school report.

The William Ward Scholarship is available at 7+ (Year 3). These Scholarships are sat in the January before the child’s admission to Year 3 in the new academic year starting in September.  They are decided by test and interview with the Head of the Prep.  Scholarships are not automatically transferred on the child’s entry into the College.

Following the meeting with the Head and the child’s assessment on the familiarisation day, you will be notified, in writing, if a place, or not is offered.  If successful the acceptance form and deposit of £750 should be sent to the Admissions department.
