On the 5th of December, the College library was alive with excitement as our Elements pupils took part in a lively and uplifting Book Buzz celebration, collecting the novels they had eagerly chosen. The event offered more than just new reads – it provided a warm and engaging environment for budding readers.

With the support of our Rhetoric Reading Mentors, pupils enjoyed thoughtful discussions about their book selections, accompanied by a well-deserved cookie treat. The library was filled with animated conversations as students compared their fiction and non-fiction picks, recommended favourite titles, and discovered new genres together.

Many pupils expressed their enthusiasm about diving into their chosen books over the Christmas holidays, highlighting the joy and anticipation that the event inspired.

Once again, Book Buzz proved to be a wonderful way to spark curiosity, promote reading for pleasure, and bring our young readers together in a shared celebration of literature.
