Little Edmundians Toddler Group at St Edmund's Prep
Discover the St Edmund’s Prep community at one of our FREE toddler groups, with woodland walks, music, rhyme time and stories, crafts and activities.
From September 2026, our Mini Mondays will be Toddler Tuesdays! These Tuesday toddler group sessions offer a free weekly morning of stay and play with coffee for parents and carers, for little ones aged 6 months to 4 years. With staff-led indoor and outside activities including lots of engagement in an educational environment this is an ideal opportunity for exploring imagination, communication and socialising, while encouraging motor skills and coordination through play. Join us on term-time Mondays, from 9.15am – 10.30am in the Prep School.
Our Forest Fridays offer an outdoor weekly morning of stay and play with coffee for parents and carers, especially for little ones aged 6 months to 4 years.
Every term-time Friday morning from 9am to 10.15am, join our team and discover our woodland forest school (weather permitting). Enjoy story-based play and sensory fun, music and singing and of course – coffee or tea for parents and carers!
Whether your child loves to move, create or explore, we’ve planned something special for everyone. Please ensure you and your child/children are appropriately dressed with wellies, waterproofs and layers.
Spaces are limited, it is essential to book your child’s space (for each child), as these sessions fill up quickly. We recommend booking early each week to avoid disappointment.

When are sessions available to book?
What should I wear to Forest Friday?
Forest Fridays are outdoors every week, so please dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend layers, waterproofs and suitable footwear — and don’t worry about getting muddy!
What happens if I can’t make my session?
Please email us as soon as possible so we can offer the space to another family. We have a huge waiting list, so every space counts.
What if my child is poorly on the day?
Please let us know as soon as possible by emailing littleedmundians@stedmundscollege.org
What happens if Little Edmundians has to cancel?
This is very unlikely, but if we ever have to cancel due to circumstances outside of our control, we’ll let you know as soon as we possibly can.
How much does each session cost?
Little Edmundians sessions on a Tuesday and Friday are FREE.
Can I share my booking link with friends?
Ideally not. Anyone wishing to attend Little Edmundians needs to be registered with us first. This means they’ll receive their own booking link and, importantly, will also receive information about our upcoming sessions and special events
Do the Little Edmundians groups run all year?
At present both groups run term time only. Please see term dates on the school calendar for dates.
