There’s always something happening at St Ed’s.
From the first tackles, passes and goals of preseason to rehearsals taking place on stage; from toddler adventures to Open Days and one very special evening of live music — there are plenty of reasons to come together at St Edmund’s College this autumn.
Our events bring together pupils, families, friends, Old Edmundian’s and our wider local community. Some are about discovering St Edmund’s for the first time. Others are simply about enjoying being part of it.
Take a look at what’s coming up and come and join us.
Proms at St Edmund’s College
Saturday 12 September 2026
One stage. An autumn evening. And a very big St Ed’s celebration.
This September, the beautiful grounds of St Edmund’s will be transformed for our first Proms at St Edmund’s — an afternoon and evening of brilliant live music, food, entertainment and celebration for the whole family.
Expect West End and television performers, the Welwyn Garden City Brass Band, musical theatre favourites, songs from stage and screen, traditional Proms classics and plenty of opportunities to sing along.
And, of course, no Proms would be complete without flags waving for a rousing finale.
Bring a picnic blanket or camping chairs, gather your friends and family and make an afternoon of it. There will be food stalls, refreshments, a bar, funfair attractions and plenty to enjoy before and between performances.
Whether you are part of the St Edmund’s community, an Old Edmundian, a neighbour or simply looking for a brilliant family day out in Hertfordshire, we would love you to join us.
