The Scholars’ Concert was a great success. With performances that were of a very high standard and an audience who enjoyed every minute of it, Headmaster Matthew Mostyn was amazed
by the talent displayed on stage. The Scholars were all awarded badges and ties at the end.

The Music School is a vibrant and lively area of the College. Music is part of the curriculum as St Edmund’s College but it is through our co-curricular activities programme that the Music Department comes alive. Pictured below is just one of these clubs, our jazz band who have been rehearsing hard.

At Foundation Day on Friday, the choir’s performance of Parry’s “I was glad” on Friday evening was excellent, and their rendition of Stopford’s Ave Maria struck the perfect balance between simplicity and complexity. Well done to all.

The choir are all getting very excited about tackling Rutter’s Requiem next month!
