St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Admissions Manager
(Required for as soon as possible)
We require an Admissions Manager to manage and oversee key elements of the College’s admissions process on a day-to-day basis and to assist in developing a clear admissions strategy in liaison with the Director of External Relations, maximising the number of enquiries, visits, registrations, and joiners and improving long term retention.
In addition, the Admissions Manager will line manage the Admissions team – initially just the UK Admissions activity and will be responsible for preparation of weekly numbers and reporting on trends and market changes, as well as being comfortable meeting families and representing the College at both internal and external events.
The role includes promoting the Prep and College to a variety of audiences and the Admissions Manager will need to be an effective advocate for the College.
Whilst not in a teaching role, as an Admissions Manager, you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
