Welcome to Talbot House!
Talbot House is a wonderful community, and students often refer to it being much like a second family. The tutor team bring a wealth of experience in pastoral care and education, and we work closely with each student to ensure their academic progress and well-being, working in partnership with parents and guardians.
Students in Talbot House are encouraged to take on leadership roles through House activities, representing the House in sports and cultural events, and contributing to the broader College community.
Life in Talbot House is full of opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and fun. In particular we place a strong emphasis on:
- Inter-House Competitions: Students can showcase their talents in various sports, academic challenges, and creative pursuits.
- Mentorship and Peer Support: Older students act as mentors, offering guidance and advice to younger students in the House.
- Co-curricular Engagement: Whether it’s sports, music, drama, or community service, Talbot House encourages all students to take part in activities that spark their passion.
From House competitions to social events and charitable initiatives like our annual Bake Off, there is always something happening that brings the Talbot community together.
