From 2024, we are excited to offer a new Rhetoric pathway – the Cambridge Technical Diploma (CTEC).
This qualification is equivalent to two A Levels, and involves a mixture of internal and external assessment, students can opt for either Business Level 3 or Sport and Physical Activity Level 3.
The Diploma be able to be combined with a Core Mathematics or an EPQ qualification (both equivalent to half an A Level), or studied as a standalone qualification.
How you combine the CTEC with your broader studies should depend on discussion with our Rhetoric team and reflect your co-curricular commitments, GCSE profile and future ambitions.
Why choose the National Diploma?
This is a level 3 vocational qualification. You can enter university with these qualifications and most universities are very happy to accept them. They are ideal preparation for practical degree courses, for example, sports science.
