Netball at St Edmund’s

Netball at St Edmund’s

Netball is a major sport, played during the Lent Term, although training sessions take place throughout the course of Michaelmas in order to ensure thorough preparation for the start of the season.

St Edmund’s has a growing reputation for netball at inter-school competitions and have also relished the opportunity to represent the College at U14 and U16 County Competitions. The College also runs additional Netball training in the Summer term activities programme to prepare for the County competitions in the following academic year.

The College has three outdoor netball courts and one indoor court which enables us to host several teams at the College.

Teams run at all age groups and there is a full fixture programme that has been built up over the course of several years against schools and teams with similar playing ability. There is also the opportunity for non-team players to enjoy the game with coaching targeted at enhancing all skill levels.
