Netball at St Edmund’s

Netball is a major sport, played by the girls during the Lent Term, although training sessions take place throughout the course of Michaelmas in order to ensure thorough preparation for the start of the season. St Edmund’s has a growing reputation for netball at inter-school competitions and have also relished the opportunity to represent the College at U14 and U16 County Competitions.

The School has three outdoor netball courts and one indoor court which enables us to host several teams at the College.

Teams run at all age groups and there is a full fixture programme that has been built up over the course of several years against schools and teams with similar playing ability.

There is also the opportunity for non-team players to enjoy the game and there is a strong ethos that every girl should be given the opportunity to pursue the sport of their choice. Coaching is available for girls of all standards, and we welcome girls to attend the after school club.
