The St Edmund’s Prep Hall has been alive with the sound of music this week. Around 55 children from Forms 3 to 6 took to the stage on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons in two concerts which showcased their talent and hard work. The young musicians performed on a variety of instruments, including piano, violin, cello, ukulele, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, trumpet, drum kit and voice.  Parents, grandparents, staff and fellow pupils gathered to applaud them in what was for some their first experience of performing to an audience.

The children impressed all with their enthusiasm and confidence on stage – not forgetting their smiles and bows! Thank you to all involved, including the Visiting Music Teachers who were able to support their pupils at the concerts and to parents for encouraging your children to keep practising at home.
