St Edmund’s College celebrated an exciting milestone as two students competed in their first-ever tournament at Silver Leys Polo Club on Sunday 24 May.

Representing the College with skill, determination and enthusiasm, Noah (Elements) and Charlotte (Rhetoric) joined forces with two other players to take part in the Prestige & Village Polo Tournament. Despite it being their first competitive chukka, the team delivered an outstanding performance, winning both of their matches against two other teams.

As a school that places equal value on academic achievement and co-curricular opportunity, St Edmund’s is proud to offer pupils experiences that help them grow in confidence, teamwork and leadership. The successful debut has generated great excitement, and plans are already underway to build on this achievement, including the possibility of entering a full team of four in November.

Pupils interested in exploring polo are encouraged to get involved as the programme continues to grow. With such a promising start, the future of polo at St Edmund’s looks bright indeed.
