The recent Fiddler on the Roof school production at St Edmund’s College, Ware, was marked by an exceptional live band led by Andrew O’Brien, Director of Music. Under Andrew’s direction, the band provided a dynamic and professional backdrop to the performance, elevating the energy of the show and bringing the iconic score to life.

Andrew worked closely with both the cast and musicians, ensuring every aspect of the performance was in harmony. His direction was instrumental in delivering a smooth and seamless performance, with the band perfectly complementing the on-stage action throughout.

A standout in the production was Isabelle L, a talented pupil at St Edmund’s College, who played the flute with impressive skill and confidence. Isabelle’s performance added richness and depth to the music, and her mature playing was a clear highlight. Her involvement in the band is a testament to the high level of musical talent fostered at St Edmund’s.
