The school’s golf team has been competing successfully for the past few years, achieving fantastic results in the ISGA Matchplay Tournament (3rd in 2024) and the English Schools Championship (3rd in 2023 and 4th in 2024), but now we are taking the sport to the next level with an expansion of both the provision (Whitehills Golf Course Partnership) and the number of players representing the college in the ISGA, Swifts, and County competitions.
Our golf season tees off in autumn, pauses briefly in winter, and then swings back into action in spring for the culmination of the ISGA competitions. This year we are launching a new activity that will allow students to develop their golf skills while enjoying the amenities at Whitehills’ beautiful Driving Range.
Students will have the chance to practice their swings and improve their game at Whitehills Golf Club’s Driving Range on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This activity is designed to help students grow in the sport, whether they are new to golf or already seasoned players.
In addition to this wonderful opportunity for our students, families will also benefit from our partnership with Whitehills Golf Club. They are offering exclusive membership deals for our school community, making it easier for families to enjoy the club’s facilities together.
We believe this program will not only help students develop their golf skills but also foster a lifelong appreciation for the sport. Golf teaches important values such as patience, focus, and sportsmanship—qualities that will benefit students in many aspects of their lives.
