Soak up the Christmas atmosphere as you glide around the rink, browse unique gifts from artisan traders, meet Santa, enjoy a cosy Storytime by Candlelight, and gather around the firepit for marshmallow roasting. Children can get creative at the Elf Academy and Mrs Claus’ Biscuit Kitchen, mix up treats at Rudolph’s Reindeer Refuel Station, discover festive fizz, bangs and whizzes in Santa’s Secret Science Lab, or dance along to their favourite tunes at the Silent Disco.
There are also Christmas Photo Shoots, Afternoon Tea with Santa, festive wreath-making workshops, and plenty of seasonal treats to enjoy throughout the weekend. Whether you’re looking for a magical family day out, festive entertainment, or simply a chance to embrace the Christmas spirit, Winter Wonderland promises a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
Entry to Winter Wonderland is completely free, with festive entertainment, market stalls, and a selection of activities available to enjoy throughout the weekend. Some special experiences and workshops carry an additional charge and require advance booking.
No admission ticket is required. Simply come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Visitors are welcome to explore the market stalls, food vendors, and free activities at their leisure.

Santa Run
Join us on Saturday at 3:00pm for our festive Santa Run, a fun-filled 5K route through the beautiful grounds of St Edmund’s, helping to raise money for charity.
Your entry includes a Santa hat to wear on the run. There will also be a medal for the winner and a prize for the best festive outfit, so don’t forget to dress to impress!
Whether you’re running, jogging, or taking a leisurely pace with family and friends, it’s a fantastic way to get into the Christmas spirit while supporting a great cause.
Entry is £7 per adult and £3 per child, with proceeds going to two incredible charities.

The remaining half of the funds raised will support Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia, a leading children’s healthcare organisation providing life-saving treatment, specialist care, medical training and community health programmes for children across Cambodia.
This charity has been chosen by one of our College Prefects following a volunteering placement at the hospital during the summer:
“This summer, I travelled to Siem Reap, Cambodia, one of the poorest provinces in the country, where many families face significant financial hardship. During my time volunteering at Angkor Hospital for Children, I helped organise medicines in the pharmacy and prepared meals for young cancer patients, many of whom were under seven years old. The experience was both humbling and inspiring. Seeing first-hand the incredible care provided by the hospital, and the challenges faced by so many families, made me want to find a way to give back. Through my role as a College Prefect and with the support of the wider St Edmund’s community, I hope we can help this remarkable organisation continue its life-changing work for children across Cambodia.”

The Winter Wonderland Giving Tree
Help us spread a little Christmas magic by supporting local children who may otherwise go without a gift this Christmas.
Families can purchase a £3, £5 or £10 Giving Tree ticket either when booking online or on the day at Winter Wonderland. Every donation will go towards purchasing gifts for children in our local community.
On arrival, children can visit The Winter Wonderland Giving Tree, where they will present their ticket and receive a special gift parcel and gift tag. They can then write a festive message or Christmas wish before placing their gift beneath the tree.
