Under the guidance of the Co-Directors of Rhetoric, personal tutors and our careers adviser, every assistance is given in choosing a career and in the fulfilment of personal goals.
During their first year, all students take part in an intensive UCAS programme to help guide them through the university application process. This involves a number of guest speakers and trips to various organisations covering a range of careers and professions, plus attendance at a University Convention.
Students are also offered individual career interviews and Centigrade testing, which guides them towards appropriate university courses.
We expect all of our Sixth Formers to proceed to the University of their choice. Former students have gone on to read a diverse range of Higher Education subjects ranging from Architecture, Law, Medicine and Quantity Surveying; to Business Studies, ICT, Fashion Design and Sports Psychology, at some of the UK’s leading universities.
We are also grateful to our Alumni network who offer support to students by sharing their experiences and offering work experience placements.
