A massive well done to Ava G who over the Easter break, won the IMG British Junior Golf Tour Championship which took place at The Cambridge Country Club and as a result will be representing Great Britain in the girls 11-12 years category.
The event will take place in San Diego, California signing in for the parade from the 8th July with the competition commencing on the 11th July.
Ava got into golf when she was 7 years old following the footsteps of her uncle, who plays on the European tour. Starting at Kingsway Golf Centre and then becoming a member at Chesfield Downs and East Herts Golf Club, she quickly made her way to playing for Hertfordshire County and went on to win various junior opens, with Hillside being one of her biggest achievements as it was a 36-hole competition, nonstop on the hottest day of the year!
