Yesterday some of our students participated in the annual sleep out, to help raise awareness of homelessness.

The courageous students, accompanied by teachers, decided to brave the cold and spend the night sleeping outside in the snow on the grounds of the chapel.

The night began with a screening of a documentary about homeless teenagers living in Brighton. This was followed by a candlelit prayer service and then the students settled down on the chapel floor in sleeping bags to get some rest.

In the morning, the students rose early to a stunning sunrise and a newfound appreciation for the struggles faced by the homeless. They prayed together and wrote prayers for those without homes of their own.
