On Friday 7 November, the College hosted another successful Interview Skills morning for all Rhetoric II students, providing them with a valuable opportunity to practice and develop essential soft skills in preparation for future apprenticeship, job, and university interviews.

The event brought together a wide range of volunteer interviewers from different industries, alongside former students and members of the College’s non-teaching staff. Their time, support and professional insight helped create a realistic and supportive interview environment for the students.

There was a noticeable buzz of anticipation in the King Room as students prepared for their interviews. While nerves were certainly present, students approached the experience with enthusiasm and determination, embracing the challenge and making the most of the opportunity to refine their communication and interview techniques.

The feedback from both students and interviewers has been overwhelmingly positive. Many of the Rhetoric II students described the experience as invaluable as they begin to prepare for their next steps beyond the College.

The College extends its sincere thanks to all those who volunteered their time and expertise to support this important careers event.
