Congratulations to our A Level students on obtaining another fine set of results this year. The Class of 2023/24 has secured places at a wide range of prestigious universities and institutions at home and overseas.

St Edmund’s students – a number of whom achieved ‘straight As’ – will now be heading to leading UK university destinations including Leeds, Nottingham, Durham, York, Liverpool and Birmingham. Here, they will study a broad spectrum of subjects ranging from architecture to engineering and from law to medicine.

Two students will make the journey to colleges in North America, one of whom has secured a double scholarship that will enable them to pursue their academic studies alongside top level sporting ambitions. Another pupil, a talented violinist, will take up musical studies at the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Outside of ‘traditional’ further education destinations, a degree apprenticeship at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) awaits one successful pupil keen to head straight to the workplace!

Matthew Mostyn, Headmaster of St Edmund’s College, said:

“Warmest congratulations to this year’s A Level students whose application, commitment, and sheer hard work has clearly paid off. We are proud to see our students take up places at some of the best institutions in the UK and beyond – and wish them every success for the next stage of their journey.”
