St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Economics and Business Studies teacher. The candidate should have a genuine interest in these subjects and an ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

The successful candidate will join an experienced, creative and highly supportive team for a period of maternity cover. Economics and Business Studies are both popular options and the Business and Economics Department is well resourced and has an excellent record of student achievement in public examinations. Economics is taught at A Level. Business Studies is taught at GCSE and A Level.

The role also offers many opportunities to contribute to the lively extra-curricular life of the College, which is situated in beautiful grounds in rural East Hertfordshire.

Working Hours and Salary

Working Hours:  Term Time hours are 8.30am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary:  The salary for the post will be dependent upon experience and in accordance with the St Edmund’s Pay Scale.
