St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint a Director of Music. The successful candidate will possess impressive academic qualifications, have excellent management and interpersonal skills and be able to teach students of a wide range of ability.
(Required for September 2019)
S/he will have the ability to lead a well-resourced department with a proven record of success, manage and develop all aspects of the running of Music Department including;
- the staff, both permanent and visiting
- the quality of class and instrumental teaching and performances
- full involvement in the liturgical life of the College including the Sunday Mass
- organisation of performance programmes
- academic excellence which will attract musical pupils to the school
- music scholarships pupils
- links with the wider community.
The successful candidate will welcome the many opportunities to contribute to the lively extra-curricular life of the College, which is situated in rural East Hertfordshire.
