An ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of EAL required for September 2019.
(The ability to teach an additional subject would be an advantage)
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the linguistic requirements of the secondary school curriculum and will be able to adapt to the linguistic needs and learning requirements of the students in particular Academic English and B2-C1 Level and the needs of A Level pupils.
There are approximately 100 students from overseas, aged 11 to 19 years, from about 20 different countries and usually 20% of these receive teaching and/or support from the International Department.
The successful candidate will welcome the many opportunities to contribute to the lively extra-curricular life of the College, which is situated in rural East Hertfordshire.
