We require an ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama for a September 2023 start.
St Edmund’s College wishes to appoint a Teacher of Drama. The candidate appointed will teach pupils of a broad range of ability from Year 7 to A Level, joining a very experienced team in a well-resourced department with a proven record of success. The department organise a range of trips and performances throughout the year, including Senior and Junior Drama performances. The department run a range of trips during the year, most recently to Hamilton in the West End. It is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to support and develop the work of this department. The ability to offer Dance as an additional subject would be an advantage.

St Edmund’s is England’s oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for pupils from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.

You will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
As with all staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
