Strength, Conditioning & Athletic Performance Coach and Boarding Assistant

St Edmund’s requires a committed and enthusiastic Strength, Conditioning and Athletic Performance Coach.

(Required September 2022)

To lead, plan and implement Strength and Conditioning programmes for the College Aspiring Athlete Programme and sport-specific academy groups to be delivered in the gym, as well as any field-based training.

To lead all physical screening, functional movement assessments and testing of students, including all Scholarship assessments.

Implement Strength and Conditioning training within the Prep School, and offer a Prep School Aspiring Athlete Programme, in line with the Prep School Director of Sport’s goals for the physical development of Prep School Students.

To support the boarding life of the College.

Salary £17k gross per annum, additional benefits include free accommodation, free meals and a free laundry service during term time.

The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity.

As with all staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
