St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint a Matron to support the Housemaster and Housemistress in the care of all 11-18 year old students in Boarding.
The boarding community is a very important part of the College. There are currently around 100 boarders from several different countries. There is a mixture of Full, Weekly and Flexi boarding.

The boarding community is a very important part of the College. There are currently around 100 boarders from several different countries. There is a mixture of Full, Weekly and Flexi boarding.

This role is term time only, plus additional days at the beginning and end of each term and the half terms.  The nature of a 24/7 boarding environment means there is a need for flexibility and therefore the successful candidate will be required to work reasonable additional hours as necessary.

Core hours would be four weekdays 0800 – 1700 and one evening per week 1700 – 2230
