St Edmund’s is currently seeking to recruit additional Invigilators, to provide support to the Examinations Officer during examination periods and on a flexible basis at other times throughout the academic year.
Required ASAP
Duties include assisting with setting up examination rooms; dealing with queries in accordance with JCQ Regulations and College policy; supervising students during examinations and escorting them to areas outside of the examination room.
The successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure with a good degree of accuracy. Ability to work at short notice is a must.
Training will be provided where necessary.
Whilst not in a teaching role, as Invigilators you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
