The successful candidate will possess impressive academic qualifications, have excellent management and interpersonal skills and be able to teach pupils of a wide range of ability. History is well respected by pupils and colleagues and performs well in public examinations.

St Edmund’s is England’s oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for pupils from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.

The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
As with all staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
