We require an inspirational Head of Spanish.

The successful candidate will possess impressive academic qualifications, have excellent management and interpersonal skills and be able to teach students across the ability range. We welcome applications from dual linguists who can offer Spanish to A Level and either French or German to GCSE.
The Head of Spanish will lead departmental colleagues and empower them to work with our students to ensure they are fully prepared for examinations at all levels and are encouraged to do their best in all aspects of their learning.
The successful candidate will welcome the many opportunities to contribute to the lively extra-curricular life of the College, which is situated in rural East Hertfordshire. St Edmund’s is England’s oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for students from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.

The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity.
