Domestic Services Manager

We require a a motivated individual to lead and manage our dedicated team of domestic staff and to manage our Domestic Bursary service, which includes housekeeping, cleaning and porterage services. The successful candidate will also assist in the management of College academic and hospitality events.

The successful candidate will need to provide cover during staff absence and leave, deal with mail and maintain efficient filing and systems.

  • Whilst not in a teaching role, as Domestic Services Manager, you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
  • The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week (all year round)
Salary: The salary for this position will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
