We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Deputy Head of Grounds to assist the team of Grounds staff with looking after 400 acres of parkland and sports facilities.
(Required for May 2022)
The successful candidate will also assist the Head of Grounds with coordinating landscaping efforts and related outdoor maintenance services, to train/manage grounds staff and ensure performance and quality.
- Applicants must have good communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
- A basic knowledge of sports pitch set up / layouts would be desirable but is not essential.

Whilst not in a teaching role, as Deputy Head of Grounds, you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
