This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic External Relations team as an Alumni and Development Officer. You will be responsible for the running of the St Edmund’s College Alumni operation, building mutually beneficial relationships with current and former students, staff and parents of the College.
- Welcome visiting Alumni and give tours of College where required.
- Maintain the Alumni website.
- Liaise with the Edmundian Association as appropriate.
- Attend all association meetings and act as Secretary for the committee.
This part-time role is term time only (TTO), 15 hours per week, over two days or more, as agreed at interview, with a flexible approach for events which could be evenings and weekends.

Whilst not in a teaching role, as an Alumni and Development Officer you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
