During Rhetoric I (Year 12), you will have the opportunity to prepare for UCAS and other career-related programmes such as apprenticeships (including degree apprenticeships). This involves guest speakers from universities and industry, university visits and a UCAS convention.
Students and parents also have access to the online platform UniFrog which supports students in choosing an appropriate pathway and preparing applications. UniFrog also provides support with international applications, such as those to the USA.
Throughout Rhetoric, you will have regular support from your Tutor,the Head of Rhetoric and the Higher Education Applications Coordinator to guide you through the process. This includes individual career interviews and Centigrade testing, to inform your decision making.
We are also grateful to our Alumni network who offer inspiration by sharing their career experiences and through work experience placements.
So, perhaps you’ll follow in the footsteps of recent Rhetoricians who have ventured into disciplines such as architecture, law, medicine, business, fashion design, the creative arts, ICT or chosen an apprenticeship. Alternatively, you may carve your own unique path.
