The Prep Timetable – Nursery to Form 6
The Prep day is a busy one. From the Nursery to Form 6 the children all follow a timetable giving them a structure to their day.
EYFS School Day
In the EYFS the Reception (4 to 5 year olds) school day runs from 8.30 am until 3.30 pm.

Our nursery children (3 – 4 year olds) are welcome to attend either a morning and/or afternoon session.
The morning sessions runs from 8.30 am until 11.30 am and the afternoon session runs from 12.30 pm until 3.30 pm. For children that stay for both the school day runs from 8.30 am until 3.30 pm.
The Pre Prep (Form 1 & 2) School Day
In the Pre Prep the school day runs from 8.30 am until 3.30 pm. There are four teaching periods of varying lengths, which are divided into appropriate lessons dependent on the needs of the curriculum. There are allotted break times and a lunchtime, plus an hour of optional activities at the end of the school day which runs from 3.30 pm until 4.40 pm.

On Monday afternoons, break is at 2.30 pm until 2.45 pm to accommodation swimming and on Thursday afternoons at 2.15 pm to 2.30 pm to accommodate Mass. On Wednesday afternoons, Form 2 is at Forest School during the break.On Thursday afternoon between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm, alternate year groups attend Mass in St Hugh’s Chapel (Form 1) or in St Edmund’s College Chapel (Form 2) once fortnightly. On Friday afternoons between 2.30 pm and 2.45 pm, Forms 1 and 2 attend Sunshine assembly in St Hugh’s Chapel.
