Pastoral Care

St Edmund’s Prep is very much a family school and we strive to maintain a caring and compassionate Christian environment where kindness, good manners and respect for others are constantly encouraged. Above all, we want to ensure that each child is happy and has the confidence to achieve their full potential.

Our teachers offer an abundance of praise and encouragement and successes, however small, are always celebrated. Individual form teachers are responsible for the general welfare, development and progress of each child. Parents are kept informed of how their child is performing through regular open days and parent evenings, as well as through the annual school report which details progress and achievements.

Our on-site centre ‘The Swan’s Nest’ provides medical care and basic first aid when required.

The College’s Infirmary facilities are also available to St Edmund’s Prep children during term-time.
