St Edmund at the Heart of the College

Since it was opened in June the St Edmund Quad has been in regular daily use and is already an indispensable resource enjoyed by the whole school.

Visitors are drawn to the statue of St Edmund, sitting peacefully reading in the corner of the quad. He provides a very special focal point at the heart of the College and is a wonderful interpretation in bronze of the ascetic 12th Century man who became scholar, teacher, priest and saint, and Patron of our College.

The student community owes a debt of gratitude to all who have helped us to realise our vision for the quad and make it something special.
