Pastoral Care at College

Commitment to the needs of the individual student underpins every aspect of College life. It is impossible for children to flourish unless they feel safe, valued and cared for. At St Edmund’s we act in close partnership with parents to provide that secure environment.

We believe that parents are children’s first and best teachers, and we look to help them provide their children with the roots to grow and the wings to fly.

House System

We offer a high level of pastoral care through our House system. There are five Houses, each named after a great figure in the College’s history. Students are placed in a House when they first arrive at the College and remain in the same House throughout their time at the College. Siblings are usually placed in the same House.
