Registration Fees £85 (Non-returnable)
Your son/daughter will be registered on our database to be considered for entry to a specific Year and Class. The fee covers: entry testing, interview, tour of the College, all necessary consultation and an offer or rejection letter.
Acceptance Deposit £500 (Non-returnable if you decline)
You accept our offer and confirm by paying the Acceptance Deposit. You son/daughter's place in a specific Year and Class is now confirmed. The Acceptance Deposit cannot be refunded if your son/daughter does not take up their place. The deposit is returned after expenses have been deducted on your final account.
One Term's Fee Deposit - £7,285 (Years 7-8) or £8,330 (Years 9-13) (2012/2013 Fees)
International students are also required to pay One Term's Fee Deposit. This should be paid at the same time as the Acceptance Deposit. This fee ensures that a place will be reserved for your son/daughter. This deposit is off-set against the final balance of fees due for the last term before your son/daughter leaves the College. Please note One Term's Fee Deposit will be retained in lieu of notice should the student fail to turn up or withdraw.

The fees for the coming term will be invoiced to you and must be received by us no later than the following deadlines:
Students are not allowed back in the College if the current term's fees have not been received. Please advise by email if you intend to pay by cash to: rpettit@stedmundscollege.org Please be aware that European money laundering laws do not allow us to accept more than £10,000 in cash.
Additional Charges.
It is very important that your son/daughter has adequate insurance to cover emergencies and it is in your child's best interests to be insured by UK policies. There are three charges for insurances. Personal Accident insurance to cover serious accidents. Health insurance to cover health care treatment and Personal Effects (belongings) insurance to cover loss, fire or theft. These are small amounts paid on a termly basis.
Airport Transfers and Other Expenses
Airport transfer costs and examination fees are charged termly in arrears on the fee bill as are other essential expenses. Airport transfers and examinations costs are arranged by the College and charged on the following fee bill.
School Uniform
School uniform for Years 7-11 must be purchased from the School Uniform Shop. This costs about £400-£500. School uniform for Sixth Form must be purchased by the student at a shop of their choice. Sports kit must be purchased from the School Uniform shop, this is about £100.
BUPA Health Insurance
This is charged termly and is a fee of £65.00
Billing
You will receive your invoices by email. They will be forwarded to you by our Accounts Manager. Mr Roger Pettit. It would be helpful if you would make contact with Mr Pettit by email to confirm: your name, email address and the name of your son/daughter.
Paying from an Overseas Bank Account
When you receive your invoice from us, please forward payment to our bank account by bank transfer. Please advise your bank of the following details:
