Netball at St Edmund’s

Netball at St Edmund’s is a major sport, played during the Lent Term, although training sessions take place throughout the course of Michaelmas to prepare for the start of the season.

St Edmund’s has a growing reputation for netball at inter-school competitive fixtures. We have relished the opportunity to represent the College at U14 and U16 County Competitions.

Students benefit from additional netball training in the Summer term, as part of our activities programme, which provides a strong foundation for County competitions in the following academic year.

We have three outdoor netball courts and an indoor court which enables us to host several teams. Teams run at all age groups and we enjoy a full fixture programme, built up over several years against schools and teams with similar playing ability. Non-team players can also enjoy the game, through coaching sessions targeted at enhancing skills.
