Using Kura

Key data will be shared with Kura securely for this system to operate. You can opt out of any data being shared by emailing stedmunds@ridekura.com at any time. Doing so will mean your child will be unable to use the school transport, even for ad-hoc journeys.

Details of how to download the Kura app and register can be found on the St Edmund’s Bus Service website. Here you can find a guide to booking, plus timetables and detailed stop information. T

The app allows you to track your child(ren)’s journeys and amend their schedule, and sends notifications should there be a significant delay or route alteration.

Please note

  • You purchase a seat on the bus for the academic year and fares are charged termly in arrears.
  • No refunds are issued for occasional absence, e.g. ill health.
  • One term’s notice is required if you wish to make any changes to your child’s bus arrangements.
  • If you need to change your bus requirements on a permanent basis during the term, this can be done using the Kura app.
  • Depending on the popularity of routes we cannot guarantee accommodating all requests.
